1 Jun 2007 - What happened in May??
May was a fun month with different things going on. I was at an assembly in Poolewe Primary then headed up to Ullapool to hear Ronnie Christie speaking on his work. Then to Lochcarron club the next day where we had a really good turnout.
Over the sea to Raasay was the pleasure it always was and we have been working hard on our drama of Noah's ark that we are putting on in June. This was the same in Kinlochewe and Badcaul.
I went to the Achiltibuie after school club and got a puncture on the way home. Thanks to a frantic phone call to Portree, Michael came and rescued me!

After an assembly in Inverasdale I headed to Inverness for a relaxing night before heading to Perth the next day for the camp leaders training day. Because we were running late, my 30 min talk on games was delivered in 10 minutes!
I went to Sleat Sunday school the next day then Kyle youth fellowship at night, then on the Monday went on the 1st years trip to Nethy bridge. It was a great week, good fun but tiring too.
The following week I went to Edinburgh for the youth night of the General Assembly. This was a bit daunting as I had never been before but managed to over run my presentation by 5 minutes, but I think that was ok.
I came back and did assemblies in Gairloch, Bualnaluib and Badcaul schools. We had a lovely couple from CWI staying with us for a few nights and we enjoyed their talk on Monday night.
The next night we had our Campaigners beach party and BBQ. After a day of rain, it stopped as we started our BBQ and when we got back into the car on our way home, the rain started again. God is good and the children had a great time.
The month finished off with a trip to Applecross to do the club there. The twisting and narrow road is forgotton when you get there - they are a great group to work with.
Thats it for this month. God has been good to us, praise the Lord!
